9/16/2007 Saturday update:  We have just added several very nice raffle prizes to the Saturday event!
Sunday update:  The catered Sunday BBQ now has several extras: Salmon, garden burgers, polish sausage,
Caesar salad, and a 'build your own ice cream sundae bar'.
There will also be several kid friendly activities like finding treats in a big pile of hay.
We will have covered seating and tents available.  So join us rain or shine!
9/9/2007 Newly added!  Our Sunday event is now going to be catered by Rich's Chuckwagon.  This will include burgers,
hotdogs, potato salad, baked beans, pop, and all the fixins'.  As Rich would say, "Just bring your appetite!".
9/4/2007 Michelle is working late tonight to finish our 20 year reunion memory book.  We received a wide variety of
interesting updates and pictures from classmates.  Some of them are quite entertaining!  The memory book
will be sent off for publishing tomorrow.  Looks like it will be in full color this time.  Thanks Michelle!!!
8/31/2007 Our reunion is now listed in the Shoreline Enterprise.  Thanks to Karen for putting in the effort on this one!
8/30/2007 Our reunion is now listed on the Shorewood electronic reader board!  Hopefully we will be able to track down
a few more classmates this way.  Thanks Annalise!
Time Capsule?  We are looking for our Shorewood class of `87 time capsule.  Does anyone know where
that ended up?  If you have any information about this please email Kristi Lyon.
8/29/2007 There are just a couple days left to get your registration and payment submitted!  We are seeing quite a few
new registrations this week.  There will be a check-in process at each venue so be sure to get registered now!
We are starting to receive quite a few memory book and Shorewood era photos.  Check out the Flickr site
listed below.  Tom is posting many of the Shorewood pics on that site.
8/21/2007 Tom just set up our Flickr account where our reunion pictures will be posted.  There are a few picture that
have already been posted.  Check it out:

8/8/2007 It's time to email us your photos!  We need your Shorewood era photos for our Saturday evening slide show.
We also need a current photo of you or your family for our 20 Year Reunion Memory Book.  You can
email your current photo to Michelle Hill.  It looks like our Memory Book may be in full color this time!
You can submit your photos even if you don't think you can make it to the reunion.  The deadline to submit
memory book photos is 8/31/07.  The deadline to submit slide show photos is 9/19/07.
7/22/2007 Today we heard from Angela Sourapas who is now living in Beijing China.  She will not be able to make
it to our reunion because she is expecting her 1st baby around the same time.  Congratulations Angela!
She did send in an updated photo and a brief summary of her post-Shorewood life that you will be able to
see in our 20 Year Reunion Memory Book.
7/19/2007 Leslie Lund hit a major milestone today.  She has helped provide updated contact information for 100 of our
classmates that are listed on the 'Fully Updated' page.  Leslie has been in contact with roughly 1/2 of
all of our classmates.  She's done an amazing job!
7/14/2007 Tom Jenner will be donating all of his time to provide professional photography of our 3 day event!  He will
post roughly 200 of the best pictures from the event on our Flickr website.  The images will be
free to download.  Tom will also be taking class photos similar to our 10 year reunion.  High resolution
versions of these images will be posted and will also be free to download.  Thanks Tom!
7/11/2007 At our 10 year reunion we had 149 people that attended.  We are currently on track to have at least that many
people show up for our 20 year reunion!
7/10/2007 We will be emailing out reunion registration forms tomorrow in an attempt to reach more classmates.
Some of these people did not receive the registration form in the mail.  We are extending the early
registration deadline to 7/20/07.  This will give everyone a chance to register for the reunion at the
  discounted price.
6/28/2007 Another batch of 8 reunion invitations was mailed today.  This brings the total to 237 classmates that have
  been mailed an invitation.
6/26/2007 Niusha Fallahzadeh accidentally found out about our reunion in a fairly unique way.  She searched for her
name on Google and found a link to our 'Not Updated' classmate list.
6/24/2007 We reached another landmark today.  We now have more classmates on the 'Fully Updated' list than the 'Not Updated'
list.  We now have at least partially updated contact info for 248 classmates.
6/15/2007 The committee met again last night to work some details.  Roles were further defined as listed below in the 2/15/2007
entry.  Michelle Hill has volunteered to help with the creation of the memory book.  Thanks Michelle!
6/14/2007 This is a notable day.  We graduated from Shorewood today in 1987.  Woo hoo!
6/6/2007 We're getting down the wire!  Only 24 days left to send in your registration form to get the early registration discount.
6/4/2007 Another batch of 25 reunion invitations was mailed today.  Updated contact info continues to come in from all
kinds of sources.  Shelli Goncalves found out about the reunion from the Shoreline School District website.
5/16/2007 Tony Miller found his old Shorewood Senior Directory from 1987.  He email us a list of old phone numbers to
help us track down more classmates.  The numbers are 20 years old, but about 1 in 10 of them is still a good
number for a parent.  We have already contacted a few classmates this way.  Thanks Tony!
5/15/2007 Shoreline School District added a link from the Shorewood website to our 20 year reunion website.
5/13/2007 The second batch of reunion invites was mailed today.  This batch includes 28 additional classmates that we
tracked down.  We received 16 classmate updates via the Shoreline reunion committee - thanks guys!  Most of
the other updates came from Leslie's and Jennifer's efforts.  One of these invites was mailed to Tony Miller
who is living in London.  This brings the number of invites mailed up to 211.
This 'Reunion News' section was added today to help keep classmates up to date on reunion developments and
  interesting facts.
5/12/2007 We are starting to receive registrations for the reunion!  The first classmate to register is Kristin Kipp.  You win
the prize Kristin!  Well, we don't have a prize.  But at least you are famous now!
5/5/2007 Jennifer's 'Reunion Overview' letter was posted on the website today.  Thanks Jen!
5/4/2007 The first batch of reunion invites was put in the mail today!  This batch will go out to 183 classmates.  A huge
thanks to everyone that sent in updated contact information!  Check out the 'Fully Updated' webpage to see who
has contributed the most to the classmate contact database.  And of special note - one of the invites
will make its way to Melanie Koons who is living in Russia.
4/30/2007 Jennifer, Tom, Rob, Annalise, and Karen worked on stuffing envelopes for
the first batch of reunion invites.  Talk about fun!   :-)
4/28/2007 The big push to update contact info is over.  We made it to exactly 200 classmates!  This is a huge jump in just 5 days.
A big thanks to Leslie and Jennifer for their very hard work on this phase!
4/23/2007 We are now up to 158 classmates with at least partially updated contact info.  We are 1 week away from preparing
the first batch of reunion invites.  Several of us are putting in extra work to find as many classmates as possible
  before the mailing.
4/11/2007 We have reserved the entire lower floor reception hall of The Rock Salt for our Saturday evening event.  It looks great!
Lots of room, a dance floor, a nice bar, good food, and access to a wrap around deck right on the water.
3/28/2007 We now have updated contact info for 132 classmates.  We are making some serious progress!
2/26/2007 Leslie and Jennifer have been dedicating a lot of time assisting Rob in tracking down classmates.
So far we have at least some updated contact information for 99 of our classmates.
2/20/2007 The Shorewood 20 Year Reunion website is launched by Rob to track which classmates we still need to locate.
2/15/2007 The reunion committee is taking shape with each person working on a different part of the planning process:

Jennifer McLaughlin - Tracking down classmates, scout Saturday sites, decorations, general coordination
Rob Fenner - Classmate database, reunion website, coordinating Friday event, budget, general coordination

2/12/2007 3rd reunion meeting with Kristi, Lisa, Annalise, Rob, and Randy.  It was decided that we would plan every
part of the 20 year reunion.  This is a change from our 10 year reunion when Reunions With Class handled
the bulk of the reunion.  Lisa handed off the classmate contact database to Rob.  He will coordinate the
  effort to track down classmates.
2/1/2007 Lisa had an employee create the 20 year reunion classmate contact database from a printed copy of
the 10 year reunion contact list.  This gave us a great starting point for tracking down our classmates.
1/22/2007 2nd reunion meeting with Kristi, Annalise, Lisa, Rob, and Karen.  General topics covered were the reunion
format.  It was decided to go with a 3 day event similar to our 10 year reunion.  Preliminary discussions about
potential sites for the 3 days of events.
12/28/2006 The 1st reunion meeting with Kristi, Karen, and Annalise.
7/15/2006 Kristi worked on getting our 20 year reunion moving forward by talking with classmates on classmates.com.
